Business Terms & Conditions

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Business Terms and Conditions (“Business Terms”) govern the use of the PetzSo Partner application, PetzSo websites, business onboarding tools, business profiles, listings, and related features (collectively, the “Platform”) by business owners, venue operators, service providers, product businesses, event organizers, authorized representatives, and other commercial users (“Business,” “you,” or “your”).

By creating an account, claiming or managing a listing, submitting business information, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Business Terms, the PetzSo User Terms, and the Privacy Policy. If you act for a company or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them.

2. PetzSo’s Role

PetzSo is a discovery, information, and connectivity platform. Businesses use the PetzSo Partner application to submit and manage information that may be displayed to users in the PetzSo application or on PetzSo websites.

  • PetzSo does not own, operate, supervise, certify, or control your business.
  • PetzSo is not your agent, broker, employee, employer, franchisee, partner, joint venturer, or insurer.
  • PetzSo does not become a party to arrangements between you and users.
  • PetzSo does not guarantee customers, enquiries, bookings, visits, revenue, ranking, or commercial results.

3. Eligibility, Authority, and Business Legitimacy

You represent and warrant at all times that:

  • You are at least 20 years old or otherwise legally capable of entering into these Business Terms.
  • You are the owner or an authorized representative of the Business.
  • The Business lawfully operates in every location shown on the Platform.
  • You hold and will maintain all licences, registrations, permits, approvals, qualifications, and insurance required for your activities.
  • You will not impersonate another business, claim a listing without authority, or submit false documents.
  • You will promptly notify PetzSo if your authority ends, the Business closes, changes ownership, or is no longer legally permitted to operate.

PetzSo may request supporting documents, proof of ownership, identity verification, permits, licences, or other evidence at any time. Verification by PetzSo is an internal platform status only and is not a legal, professional, safety, or quality certification.

4. Account Security and Authorized Users

You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, verification codes, devices, and access to your Partner account. You are responsible for all activity performed through your account, including activity by employees, contractors, or other persons you allow to use it.

You must notify PetzSo promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, account compromise, impersonation, or misuse. PetzSo may restrict access, require reverification, reset account access, or suspend the account to protect users, businesses, or the Platform.

5. Listing Information and Ongoing Accuracy

You are solely responsible for all information submitted or maintained by you, including:

  • Business name, categories, address, map location, telephone number, and contact channels.
  • Opening hours, temporary closures, service areas, and appointment requirements.
  • Pet policies, breed or size restrictions, vaccination requirements, venue rules, and admission conditions.
  • Services, products, prices, descriptions, qualifications, ingredients, stock, availability, and promotions.
  • Photos, logos, videos, documents, claims, certifications, and other listing content.

Information must be truthful, current, complete, clear, non-misleading, and legally compliant. You must update material changes promptly. PetzSo may edit formatting, correct obvious errors, categorize, translate, resize, crop, reorganize, merge duplicate listings, or unpublish information, but has no duty to monitor or correct it.

6. Media and Human Image Policy

Identifiable personal human images are not permitted in business listings.

Listing photos and videos should primarily show the Business, premises, pet-friendly facilities, pets, services, equipment, menus, or products. You must not upload portraits, selfies, staff photos, customer photos, influencer images, children, passers-by, or any other identifiable person.

A human image may appear only where it is incidental and reasonably unavoidable, such as a person printed on the original packaging of a genuine pet product, a small person appearing in the distant background, or a hand shown only as necessary to demonstrate a pet product or service. The person must not be the primary subject.

You must not upload intimate, humiliating, discriminatory, violent, exploitative, deceptive, AI-impersonated, or privacy-invasive media. You confirm that you hold all necessary rights and permissions for every image or video. PetzSo may reject, crop, blur, remove, or disable any media at any time without liability.

7. Prohibited Listings, Products, Services, and Claims

You must not use the Platform to promote, offer, advertise, or facilitate:

  • Illegal, unlicensed, unsafe, deceptive, counterfeit, stolen, or regulated goods or services.
  • Any sale, resale, auction, exchange, adoption-for-payment, brokerage, listing, promotion, or facilitation of live animals through the Platform.
  • Animal breeding, commercial breeding, stud services, mating services, litter promotion, breeder advertising, or content intended to generate enquiries for buying, selling, or breeding animals.
  • Animal cruelty, animal fighting, wildlife trafficking, unlawful adoption activity, or unlawful transfer of animals.
  • Veterinary, medical, pharmaceutical, or health claims that you are not legally qualified or authorized to make.
  • False guarantees, fabricated certifications, misleading before-and-after claims, or hidden material conditions.
  • Discriminatory, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful content.
  • Services or activities that create an unreasonable risk to users, animals, property, or the public.

PetzSo does not promote, support, facilitate, or permit animal breeding or the buying or selling of live animals in any form. This is a zero-tolerance Platform rule and applies even where the activity may otherwise be lawful outside the Platform.

A Business that uploads, advertises, links to, solicits enquiries for, or otherwise facilitates live-animal sales, breeding, stud services, litters, or similar activity may have its content removed and its listing or Partner account immediately suspended or permanently banned without prior notice. PetzSo may also block related accounts, preserve relevant records, and report suspected unlawful activity to competent authorities where appropriate.

PetzSo may remove or restrict content that it reasonably considers unsafe, unlawful, misleading, unsuitable, or harmful to the Platform, even where the content is not expressly listed above.

8. Customer Interactions and Pet Safety

You are fully responsible for all interactions with users and their pets, whether arranged through or discovered on PetzSo. This includes enquiries, visits, appointments, check-ins, quotations, services, products, refusals, cancellations, complaints, and disputes.

You assume responsibility for:

  • Safe, hygienic, lawful, and professionally appropriate operations.
  • Assessing whether a pet can safely enter, stay, participate, or receive a service.
  • Preventing injuries, escapes, disease transmission, bites, aggression, and property damage.
  • Staff training, supervision, emergency procedures, record keeping, and required insurance.
  • Any act, omission, negligence, misconduct, or representation by your owners, staff, contractors, or agents.

PetzSo does not inspect your premises, supervise your work, assess individual pets, or guarantee the safety, suitability, legality, quality, or outcome of any business interaction.

9. Payments and Transactions in Thailand

PetzSo does not process, collect, hold, transmit, settle, or guarantee customer payments for businesses in Thailand. PetzSo does not provide escrow, payment intermediary, refund, chargeback, delivery, fulfilment, or debt collection services in Thailand.

Any price quotation, payment, cancellation, refund, tax invoice, delivery, service fulfilment, warranty, or other transaction occurs directly between you and the user. You are solely responsible for complying with applicable tax, invoicing, consumer, advertising, refund, and commercial obligations.

PetzSo may introduce optional paid Partner features, advertising, subscriptions, or listing products in the future. Any such feature will be subject to additional terms and pricing presented before purchase.

10. Reviews, Ratings, Ranking, and Visibility

Reviews, ratings, check-ins, and other user submissions are user opinions and are not statements, guarantees, or endorsements by PetzSo. PetzSo does not guarantee that reviews are accurate, favorable, complete, or free from error.

You must not create, purchase, solicit, exchange, manipulate, suppress, threaten, reward, or retaliate in relation to reviews or ratings. You must not submit reviews of your own Business or use another person or account to do so.

PetzSo determines ranking, badges, categories, recommendations, featured placement, verification presentation, and visibility. These may depend on location, relevance, listing quality, user activity, verification, promotions, or other factors, and may change at any time without notice. No position or visibility is guaranteed.

11. Business Content and Licence to PetzSo

You retain ownership of content that you lawfully own. By submitting Business content, you grant PetzSo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, translate, crop, resize, publish, display, distribute, communicate, and promote that content for operating, securing, improving, marketing, and demonstrating PetzSo and its services.

This licence includes use of your business name, trade name, logo, listing information, images, videos, and promotional material in the PetzSo app, websites, social channels, search pages, app-store materials, advertising, and communications. The licence continues for a reasonable period after removal where content remains in backups, archived records, previously published marketing, legal records, or shared user content.

You represent that your content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, database, or other rights. You are responsible for obtaining all permissions and paying any related royalties or fees.

12. Customer and Personal Data

You may use information received through PetzSo only to respond to the relevant user enquiry, provide the requested service, protect safety, maintain lawful records, or comply with law. You must not sell, scrape, enrich, publish, profile, spam, or use user information for unrelated advertising without a lawful basis and any required consent.

You must apply appropriate security safeguards, limit access to authorized persons, retain data only as necessary, and comply with Thailand’s personal data protection requirements. You are independently responsible for your own privacy notices, consent practices, records, security, retention, and breach response.

You must notify PetzSo promptly of any actual or suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, misuse, or security incident involving information obtained through the Platform.

13. Compliance with Laws

You are solely responsible for compliance with all laws, regulations, professional standards, local rules, licence conditions, tax requirements, advertising rules, consumer obligations, animal welfare rules, public-health requirements, employment duties, and data-protection obligations applicable to your Business.

PetzSo’s acceptance, publication, verification, or continued display of a listing does not mean that PetzSo has confirmed your compliance. You must cooperate with reasonable investigations, complaints, safety checks, or lawful requests and provide requested supporting information promptly.

14. Platform Rules and Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Create duplicate, misleading, fake, or unauthorized listings or accounts.
  • Circumvent moderation, verification, access controls, suspensions, or technical restrictions.
  • Scrape, harvest, copy, reverse engineer, decompile, interfere with, overload, or exploit the Platform.
  • Upload malware, automated scripts, fraudulent links, or content intended to deceive users.
  • Use PetzSo’s name, logo, badges, verification status, screenshots, or branding in a misleading way.
  • Suggest that PetzSo owns, operates, certifies, recommends, guarantees, or endorses your Business unless PetzSo has expressly authorized that statement in writing.
  • Use the Platform to harass, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against, or retaliate against users or reviewers.

15. Moderation, Verification, Suspension, and Listing Control

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetzSo may at any time investigate, verify, reject, edit, recategorize, restrict, unpublish, merge, transfer, suspend, or remove any listing, content, feature, verification status, or Partner account. PetzSo may act without prior notice where it considers action necessary for safety, legal compliance, platform integrity, user protection, fraud prevention, reputational protection, inactivity, duplicate listings, misleading information, or operational reasons.

PetzSo may preserve records, cooperate with authorities, notify affected users, or refer suspected misconduct to regulators, law enforcement, rights holders, or service providers where legally permitted or required.

PetzSo is not liable for loss of visibility, enquiries, customers, data, reputation, anticipated income, or other consequences resulting from moderation, suspension, verification changes, technical issues, or listing removal.

16. Platform Changes and Availability

PetzSo may add, modify, test, restrict, discontinue, or replace any feature, category, display format, algorithm, integration, or part of the Platform at any time. The Platform may be unavailable or contain errors, interruptions, outdated information, delays, security incidents, or technical defects.

You are responsible for maintaining your own records and backups. PetzSo does not guarantee permanent storage, uninterrupted availability, compatibility, enquiry delivery, or restoration of any Business content or account.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is,” “as available,” and “with all faults.” PetzSo disclaims all express, implied, statutory, and other warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, availability, security, commercial success, and compatibility.

PetzSo does not warrant the identity, conduct, reliability, solvency, intentions, or suitability of any user, business, venue, provider, reviewer, or third party.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetzSo and its founders, personnel, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, customers, opportunities, goodwill, reputation, data, or anticipated savings.

PetzSo will not be liable for claims arising from Business operations, user conduct, pet incidents, reviews, listing information, third-party services, account access, suspension, removal, outages, security incidents, or transactions between you and any user.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetzSo’s total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Platform or these Business Terms will not exceed THB 1,000 or the amount you paid directly to PetzSo for the specific paid Partner feature giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Business Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

19. Business Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PetzSo and its founders, personnel, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, investigations, proceedings, losses, damages, penalties, fines, settlements, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from or relating to:

  • Your Business, premises, products, services, events, advertising, pricing, transactions, or operations.
  • Injury, illness, death, escape, loss, property damage, pet incident, or customer dispute connected with your Business.
  • Your content, including alleged infringement, privacy violation, defamation, misleading advertising, or unlawful use of an image.
  • Your breach of these Business Terms, applicable law, professional duty, licence condition, or third-party rights.
  • Acts or omissions of your owners, employees, staff, contractors, agents, representatives, or account users.
  • Any tax, refund, charge, payment, invoice, warranty, cancellation, or consumer claim involving your Business.

PetzSo may control the defence or settlement of a covered matter. You must cooperate and must not settle a claim in a manner that admits fault by, imposes obligations on, or harms PetzSo without PetzSo’s prior written consent.

20. Intellectual Property of the Platform

PetzSo and its licensors retain all rights in the Platform, software, databases, designs, interfaces, rankings, taxonomies, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and technology. Except for the limited right to use the Platform under these Business Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, scrape, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

21. Termination and Effect of Termination

You may stop using the Partner application or request account closure, subject to resolution of outstanding complaints, investigations, legal requirements, or records that PetzSo must retain.

PetzSo may suspend or terminate access immediately where permitted by law. After termination, PetzSo may remove, retain, archive, or continue displaying limited factual listing information obtained from public sources, user submissions, or other lawful sources. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

22. Force Majeure

PetzSo is not responsible for delay, interruption, loss, or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemic or pandemic events, war, civil unrest, government action, legal restrictions, app-store action, cyberattack, telecommunications failure, cloud or hosting outage, utility failure, labour dispute, or failure of a third-party provider.

23. Governing Law and Disputes

These Business Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before commencing formal proceedings, you must send a written description of the dispute to support@petzso.com and allow at least 30 days for good-faith resolution, unless urgent interim relief is reasonably required.

Subject to any mandatory law, the courts of Bangkok, Thailand will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Business Terms or the Platform.

24. Changes to These Business Terms

PetzSo may amend these Business Terms to reflect legal, safety, operational, commercial, or Platform changes. Updated terms will be published through the Platform or otherwise notified where required by law. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.

25. General Provisions

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. PetzSo’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign or transfer your account or rights without PetzSo’s written consent. PetzSo may assign these Business Terms in connection with a restructuring, financing, transfer, or operation of the Platform.

These Business Terms, together with incorporated policies and any applicable additional terms, constitute the agreement relating to your use of the Platform. Provisions concerning content licences, intellectual property, liability, indemnification, records, disputes, and accrued obligations survive termination.
