Effective Date: Jan 01, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PetzSo (“PetzSo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal data when individuals use the PetzSo user application, the PetzSo Partner application, PetzSo websites, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy applies to pet parents and other Platform users, business owners, venue operators, service providers, product businesses, event organizers, authorized business representatives, and visitors to our websites.
PetzSo processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, including Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).
PetzSo acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Platform, except where another party independently determines how and why data is processed.
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact: support@petzso.com
Where users create pet profiles, we may process pet names, species, breed, age, gender, photos, profile descriptions, and other information voluntarily added by the user. Pet information is not normally personal data by itself, but it may become linked to the user’s account.
Where enabled, we may process content and actions submitted through the Platform, including photos, videos, reviews, ratings, comments, check-ins, saved listings, reports, support messages, and similar activity. Publicly submitted content may be visible to other users.
If a user grants device permission, the Platform may use precise or approximate location to show nearby businesses, pet-friendly places, services, products, or events. Location access may be disabled through device settings. PetzSo does not intentionally collect continuous background location unless a specific feature clearly requires it and the user has granted the necessary permission.
Business listing information intended for publication may be displayed publicly in the PetzSo app, websites, search pages, maps, or promotional materials.
We and our essential service providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Platform, such as app version, device or operating-system type, IP address, timestamps, authentication events, error logs, crash information, security events, and server logs. We do not use this information to create advertising profiles.
We collect personal data:
We may process personal data to:
Depending on the circumstances, PetzSo may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
Where consent is the legal basis, consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
Business profiles, business names, business contact information, addresses, map locations, opening hours, pet policies, services, products, photos, logos, ratings, and other listing content may be made public. Reviews, ratings, check-ins, usernames, pet profiles, and user content may also be public where the relevant feature is designed for public display.
Public information may be viewed, copied, indexed, cached, or shared by third parties outside PetzSo’s control. Users and businesses should not publish confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal data.
We may use service providers for authentication, OTP delivery, cloud hosting, storage, content delivery, security, backups, technical support, email, error monitoring, and similar operational services. They may process personal data only as needed to provide those services and subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
We may share information necessary to enable a user-requested interaction with a business, or to enable a business to respond to a user. Public listing and public-content information is visible to Platform users and website visitors.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, impersonation, animal sales, breeding promotion, abuse, threats, intellectual-property claims, privacy complaints, security incidents, or other violations; protect legal rights or safety; comply with law; or respond to a valid request from a court, regulator, law-enforcement authority, or other competent body.
Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, sale, assignment, or transfer of all or part of the Platform, subject to applicable law and reasonable safeguards.
PetzSo does not sell personal data and does not disclose personal data to third parties for their independent advertising or data-broker purposes.
A business that receives personal data from a user through PetzSo is independently responsible for its own use of that information. Businesses must use it only for the relevant enquiry, requested service, safety, lawful record keeping, or another lawful purpose, and must comply with the PDPA and their own privacy duties.
Businesses must not sell, scrape, publish, spam, enrich, profile, or use user information for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis and any consent required by law. PetzSo is not responsible for a business’s independent privacy practices.
PetzSo websites may use essential cookies or similar technologies necessary for security, session management, preferences, and basic functionality. We do not currently use cross-site behavioural advertising trackers.
If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, PetzSo will provide additional notice and request consent where required by law.
PetzSo may use cloud infrastructure and service providers located outside Thailand. As a result, personal data may be stored or processed in other countries, including countries where our hosting, authentication, storage, support, or security providers operate.
Where required by the PDPA, PetzSo will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, which may include contractual protections, vendor security obligations, transfer arrangements recognized by law, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
PetzSo retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including Platform operation, account administration, security, moderation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement.
When personal data is no longer required, PetzSo will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to technical and legal limitations.
PetzSo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or destruction. These may include access controls, authentication, secure infrastructure, logging, backups, restricted personnel access, and vendor safeguards.
No system is completely secure. Users and businesses are responsible for protecting their devices, login credentials, and verification codes and for notifying PetzSo promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
If PetzSo becomes aware of a personal data breach, we will assess the incident and take reasonable containment, investigation, remediation, documentation, and notification steps as required by applicable law.
Businesses must promptly notify PetzSo of any actual or suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse involving personal data received through the Platform.
Subject to applicable conditions, exceptions, identity verification, and legal limitations, an individual may have the right to:
Requests may be submitted to support@petzso.com. PetzSo may request information necessary to verify identity, authority, account ownership, and the scope of the request.
PetzSo may refuse, limit, or defer a request where permitted by law, including where information must be retained for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, freedom of expression, establishment or defence of legal claims, protection of another person’s rights, or another lawful reason.
Users may request account deletion through available in-app controls or by contacting support@petzso.com. Account deletion does not necessarily remove content already shared by others, information required for legal or security purposes, or data retained temporarily in backups.
Closing a Partner account does not automatically require PetzSo to delete a factual public business listing. A business may request correction, ownership review, or removal, but PetzSo may retain or republish public business information where it has a lawful basis to do so.
PetzSo is not intended for children. User accounts are intended for individuals aged 18 or older, and Partner accounts are intended for persons legally capable of acting for a business. We do not knowingly request personal data directly from children.
If you believe a child has submitted personal data, contact support@petzso.com. PetzSo may remove the information and restrict the related account after appropriate review.
The Platform may link to maps, messaging applications, websites, social platforms, app stores, or other third-party services. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. PetzSo does not control and is not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
PetzSo may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, operational, security, technology, or Platform changes. We will publish the updated version and an additional notice will be provided where required by law.
